My First Cable Throw

This beautiful cozy throw was designed specifically for introducing the joy of cables to confident beginner crocheters! It features the 4-Post Cable, post ribbing, and the Wattle Stitch. The original was crocheted using a super bulky weight yarn, but you can also crochet this using thinner yarn if you desire. Just be sure to change your hook to match the yarn chosen.

Skill Level: Confident Beginner
Yarn: I used 9 skeins of Yarnspirations Bernat Blanket Yarn (100% polyester, 10.5 oz/300 g, 220 yds/201 m) This is a super bulky or #6 weight yarn. I used the Smokey Green color.
Hook: Size N (or 15/10.00 mm)
Notions: Scissors, yarn needle, stitch marker (optional)
Gauge: In post ribbing, 7 sts = 4", 5 rows = 4 " (Gauge is not so important for this design.)
Finished Dimensions: Approximately 53" wide x 64" long
