LEFT-HANDED VERSION: Heirloom American Flag Throw, Video #2 (of 2)
{Note to Left-Handed crocheters: STARTING WITH ROW 61, you will need to work the blue field section and the strip sections in the rest of the stripes in the opposite order as they appear below. Be sure to work a hdc at the beginning of the blue field on the left and then continue with the double stitch (sc, dc).}
This Heirloom American Flag Throw is a project I've had on my heart for many years. It is an expression of my love for my homeland as we celebrate 250 years of independence and freedom! This is a larger throw and is big enough to cover a queen & full size bed. Each of the 13 stripes are different, representing the motto that appears on the Great Seal of the United States: "E pluribus unum", which tranlates to "out of many, one".
