Colossae Cabled Cardigan (3 parts/videos): This beautifully cabled crochet cardigan is named for the ancient city of Colossae, which was famous for their red and purple dyed wool. It features a double twisted crochet cable and elongated cables trimmed with wattle stitching and ribbing. This can be either a vest or a cardigan, depending upon your preference.
Skill Level: Intermediate/Advanced
Yarn: 6 (7, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10, 11) hanks of Greenwood Fiberworks "Simply Sock" fingering weight yarn (75% superwash merino, 25% nylon, 463 yds, 100 g) in color "Ruby Variegated". Feel free to substitute other fingering weight yarns of your choice.
Hook: Size G (or 6/4.00 mm), or hook needed for gauge.
Notions: yarn needle, 7 buttons (1.25" or to your preference), measuring tape, 1 dozen stitch markers
