This heirloom quality blanket features an intricate Celtic knot, surrounded by rounds of Arrows, Celtic Weave and trimmed using a cabled ribbing. This is a collaboration with my friend Jennifer Ryan of Celtic Knot Crochet. You will first create the Celtic Knot with Jennifer, and then complete the remaining rounds with me! I encourage you to make use of the complete video tutorials provided below. (The diagrams are included on the last 2 pages of this pattern – print out the one you need – There is a Right Hander diagram and a Left Hander diagram)

Skill Level: Intermediate/Advanced

Yarn: Paintbox Yarns Simply DK (100% acrylic, 3.53 oz/100 g, 302 yds/276 m), For Blue blanket: 4 skeins in #202 Champagne White, 1 each in #136 Dolphin Blue, #137 Midnight Blue. For Pink Blanket: 4 skeins in #104 Stormy Grey, 1 each in #143 Raspberry Pink, #150 Bubblegum Pink (or 2 contrasting colors of your choice).
Hooks: Size H (or 8/5.00 mm)
Notions: Yarn needle, scissors, stitch markers (4 in one color, 2 in another), 15-20 straight sewing pins, cork or foam board or blocking square (at least 12" square).
